Directional boring has enabled modern utility companies to be more cost-effective and avoid the disruptive impact of having to trench to lay new utilities.

Many of our clients are faced with the daily risk of cutting through an existing utility line when they directionally bore, which is where our utility locating services are needed.

They may know where a utility line lies, but they often have no way of finding the depth of that utility line, especially in situations where they must cross beneath a road with multiple utilities running beneath it. Often the only sure way to know that depth is by cutting into the road and digging downward to confirm. This is a costly and time-consuming task.

Radar Hawk offers a solution utilizing GPR technology that provides depths on existing utilities. Using our equipment, we can often determine the depth of a utility within a 10% margin of error. Our clients doing this trenchless work avoid significant damages by utilizing our team of experts.
